We are seeking qualified Psychiatry Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Oregon. This assignment involves providing psychiatric care to an adult patient population in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
The physician will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team and will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, patient management, rounding, admissions, and treatment planning.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Manage admissions and daily patient rounding
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Meet all facility credentialing and privileging requirements
Qualifications
Active Oregon medical license required
IMLC accepted
Current BLS certification required
Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience preferred
Ability to meet hospital privileging requirements
Experience with electronic medical records preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required
Working Hours
Approximately 32–35 beds
Monday through Friday schedule
11-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
No call responsibilities
Collaborative team environment
Provider will not work solo
