• Locum tenens opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide inpatient behavioral health care•
• Hospital-based setting with approximately 35 beds
• Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and admissions
• Provider will work as part of a clinical team and will not work solo
• Opportunity available due to a current coverage gap

• Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and admissions

• Opportunity available due to a current coverage gap
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct daily inpatient rounding and admissions
• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Provide safe, patient-centered psychiatric care
Qualifications
• Active Oregon medical license required
• IMLC accepted
• BLS certification required
• Experience providing inpatient or consultative psychiatric services
• Must be able to demonstrate care for at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or qualify through recent residency/fellowship experience
• Epic experience preferred
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday
• No call required
• No overnight call
Skills
• Inpatient behavioral health experience
• Ability to manage adult psychiatric patients
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent clinical decision-making
• Ability to manage admissions and ongoing patient care
• Epic/EMR experience preferred
