• Seeking a Locum Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for Behavioral Health coverage
• Position includes both inpatient & outpatient psychiatric care
• Inpatient and outpatient locations are approximately 5 minutes apart
• Provider will work independently and provide comprehensive adult psychiatric care
• Average patient volume is approximately 12–14 patients per day
• Hospital has approximately 126 beds
• EPIC EMR is utilized
• Position is structured as a full-time equivalent role
• Occasional night call is required
• Quarterly weekend coverage may include inpatient telepsychiatry and can potentially be performed remotely for providers residing in Washington

Job Responsibilities
• Conduct outpatient behavioral health clinic visits
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care
• Perform inpatient rounding and admissions
• Complete patient discharges
• Manage inpatient and outpatient treatment plans
• Provide inpatient care during scheduled morning shifts
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits during afternoon split shifts
• Participate in occasional night call
• Provide inpatient telepsychiatry coverage during assigned weekends
• Collaborate with clinical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Washington medical license required at time of presentation
• IMLC candidates are not being considered for this assignment
• BLS certification required
• Recent psychiatric clinical experience required
• Documentation of at least 100 relevant patients from the previous 24 months
• Experience providing both inpatient & outpatient psychiatric services
• Ability to obtain hospital & clinic privileges
Working Hours
• 1 hour lunch during clinic shifts
• Inpatient/outpatient split days: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM inpatient, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM clinic
• Some inpatient days may begin at 7:30 AM when court appearances are required
• Approximately 5–7 inpatient shifts per month
• Approximately 12–19 outpatient clinic days
• Occasional night call
• Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter
• Weekend inpatient telepsychiatry may be remote for qualifying Washington based providers
