an excellent Locum Psychiatrist (MD/DO) opportunity in Longview, Washington. This position offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, allowing you to work with adult patients in a collaborative behavioral health setting while maintaining a balanced schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Perform patient rounding, admissions, and discharge planning.
Manage an average of 12–14 patients per day.
Work independently while collaborating with the behavioral health team when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Washington State medical license (required at the time of submission)
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of Psychiatry experience
Documentation of clinical activity involving at least 100 patients within the past 24 months
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Working Hours
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Behavioral Health
Call: Occasional night call (Weekends approximately once per quarter)
Start Date: November 2026
Assignment Duration: Through February 2027, with potential for extension
Skills
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
Medication management and treatment planning
