Outpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity – Community Mental Health
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join a growing outpatient behavioral health team providing high-quality psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults.

The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing support for individuals experiencing mental health, emotional, and behavioral conditions.

Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans
Manage psychiatric medications appropriately
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding treatment options
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with medical providers and care teams
Support outpatient behavioral health initiatives
Qualifications
MD or equivalent medical degree
Completion of psychiatry residency training
Active medical license or ability to obtain Alabama licensure
Minimum one year of psychiatric care experience
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults
Outpatient psychiatry experience
Community mental health or integrated care experience
