Job description
Job description
This is an ideal opportunity for a psychiatrist seeking supplemental income with a minimal time commitment. The position is focused on clinical oversight and administrative supervision rather than direct patient care.
As the supervising physician, you will provide guidance and support for two advanced practice providers (APPs), ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to clinical best practices. The role includes two onsite visits per month and limited remote availability to answer occasional clinical questions.
This position does not include a traditional patient caseload, routine psychiatric evaluations, medication management visits, or scheduled patient appointments.
The Supervising Psychiatrist will serve as the collaborating physician for two advanced practice providers, offering clinical oversight, chart review, regulatory guidance, and administrative support.
This is a supervisory role designed for psychiatrists who enjoy mentoring clinicians and ensuring high standards of psychiatric practice without maintaining an active patient panel.
