Job description
NorTek Medical Staffing is recruiting a full-time psychiatrist for a growing inpatient behavioral health program in the Johnstown, Colorado area.
The facility currently maintains an average census of approximately 12 patients, with continued growth expected. This position includes direct patient care, collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team, and supervision of advanced practice providers.
Compensation ranges from $350,000 to $400,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
Manage an inpatient census currently averaging approximately 12 patients
Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning
Complete clinical documentation accurately and efficiently
Support the facility as the inpatient program and census grow
Provide weekend coverage two weekends per month
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active or eligible Colorado medical license
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one
Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
Experience supervising nurse practitioners or physician assistants preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
Comfortable supporting a growing inpatient program
Working Hours
Monday through Friday
Two weekends per month
Inpatient behavioral health setting
Current average census of approximately 12 patients
