Job description
NorTek Medical Staffing is recruiting an Addiction Psychiatrist Medical Director for an inpatient detox and addiction treatment program in the Danvers, Massachusetts area.
This position combines direct patient care with medical leadership responsibilities. The psychiatrist will treat patients with substance use disorders while also providing administrative and clinical oversight for the program.
Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $400,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
Treat patients in an inpatient detox and addiction setting
Serve as Medical Director for the program
Provide both clinical care and administrative oversight
Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and operational leadership
Support treatment planning, quality improvement, and clinical compliance
Provide physician leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
Participate in weekend coverage two weekends per month
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active or eligible Massachusetts medical license
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one
Experience treating substance use disorders or detox populations
Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine experience preferred
Medical Director or physician leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
Working Hours
Two weekends per month
