Our healthcare center on Long Island is seeking a committed professional to make a meaningful impact in an outpatient clinic setting. This opportunity offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to a population primarily diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Collaborate with patients, aides, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Utilize the eCW EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.
- Participate in a collaborative, community-based care model within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) offering a range of services including primary care, podiatry, dental, psychology, and psychiatry.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Experience or strong interest in working with developmentally disabled and special needs populations is strongly preferred.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
