Job description
Psychiatrist / Medical Director opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska with a growing outpatient behavioral health practice.
This is a strong fit for a psychiatrist who wants a mix of clinical work, leadership, and long-term growth. The role will focus on outpatient psychiatry, medication management, interventional psychiatry services, and supervision of psychiatric APPs.
The position offers a path toward broader leadership, with potential to grow into a Regional Medical Director role as the organization expands.
Compensation is up to $400,000 annually, depending on experience, plus full W2 benefits.
Job Responsibilities
Treat adult patients in an outpatient behavioral health setting
Support interventional psychiatry services, including Spravato/ketamine treatment
Participate in development of future TMS service line
Supervise and collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners and APPs
Help guide clinical quality, patient care standards, and provider performance
Partner with leadership on growth, operations, and community presence
Support a strong patient experience and high-quality clinical outcomes
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active or eligible Nebraska medical license
DEA required
Experience in outpatient psychiatry strongly preferred
Leadership, Medical Director, or APP supervision experience preferred
Interest or experience in interventional psychiatry preferred
Must be willing to work in or relocate near Omaha, Nebraska
Working Hours
Outpatient clinic setting
Hybrid flexibility available
Majority of work will require onsite presence in Omaha
No traditional inpatient hospitalist schedule
Leadership/admin time may be included depending on candidate fit
