Assistant Medical Director – Geriatric Psychiatry Inpatient Unit - Bridgeport, CT 55m from Hartford Seeking a Psychiatrist committed to resident and medical student education to serve as Assistant Medical Director of the department and Medical Director of the geriatric psychiatry inpatient service. The Psychiatrist will participate in patient care, resident supervision, and medical student teaching, joining a mature and collegial faculty peer group. Applicants will be eligible for academic appointment through the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine. Position Details

• Provide the highest quality of psychiatric and substance use treatment to an elderly and medically complex patient population
• Serve as clinical leader for a multidisciplinary treatment team with mentorship from department and network leadership
• Serve as faculty for a new psychiatry residency program with dedicated academic time
• Monday through Friday schedule with no required on-call after hours
