UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our inpatient behavioral health team in Morganton, North Carolina.
With a 7-on/7-off schedule, dedicated APP support, and an established 22-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, this opportunity offers the professional fulfillment of caring for patients when they need you most, paired with a schedule that creates meaningful time away from work.

- 7-on/7-off schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 22-bed inpatient psychiatric unit with an average census of approximately 18 patients
- APP support to help provide high-quality, team-based care
- Manageable call schedule

What We’re Looking For
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Two to five years of experience preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare
