Behavioral Health Physician Opportunity – Longview, WA

Important Requirement
Active Washington license required at time of presentation.
Client is not accepting IMLC candidates due to urgent credentialing timelines.
Reason for Opening
Coverage gap due to current locums provider not extending beyond August.
Practice Setting
* Combination of inpatient and outpatient coverage
* Clinic and hospital are located approximately 5 minutes apart
* Both clinic and hospital privileges required
* Adult patient population
* Average patient volume: 12–14 patients per day
* Provider will work solo
Clinical Responsibilities
* Rounding and admissions required
* Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health coverage
* Occasional court-related responsibilities requiring earlier start times
Schedule Overview
* 5–7 inpatient shifts per month
* 12–19 outpatient clinic days per month
* Occasional night call possible
* Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter for inpatient telehealth
* May be remote if provider resides in Washington State
Clinic Schedule
* 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* 1-hour lunch break
IP/OP Split Schedule
* Inpatient: 8:00 AM – Noon
* Outpatient Clinic: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
* Occasionally starts at 7:30 AM for court appearances
Call Details
* Occasional night call may be requested if coverage gaps arise
* Permanent staff are prioritized first for call coverage
Requirements
* Active Washington license required
* BLS certification required

Clinical Activity Requirement
Applicants must provide documentation of at least 100 patient encounters within the last 24 months representative of the requested privileges.
Case logs must include:
* Diagnosis or procedure
* Date of service
* Facility where services were performed

09/01 – 09/04: IP/OP Split
09/08 – 09/10: Clinic
09/14 – 09/17: Clinic
09/21 – 09/24: Clinic
09/28 – 10/02: IP/OP Split
10/05 – 10/08: Clinic
10/12 – 10/15: Clinic
10/19 – 10/22: Clinic
10/26 – 10/29: Clinic
11/02 – 11/06: Clinic
11/09 – 11/12: Clinic
11/16 – 11/19: Clinic
11/23 – 11/25: IP/OP Split
(Locum requested to work Thanksgiving week)
11/26 – 11/29: Inpatient (8:00 AM – Noon)
(Could be tele/remote if provider resides in Washington)
Provider would have Christmas and New Year’s week off.
