We are seeking a Psychiatry physician for a locum tenens position in Morgantown, WV. This is a full-time outpatient psychiatry coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital, providing maternity leave coverage with no call required. Please see below for more information.
Hospital Bed Size: 25 | EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities
See approximately 11–16 patients per day depending on appointment length
Perform med checks and med checks with therapy
Care for adult patient population
Qualifications
Active West Virginia state license required (IMLC accepted or providers eligible for WV temp license)
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
Working Hours
Full-time coverage
No call
Start Date: 8/3/2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks (3-month maternity leave coverage)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
