A long-standing, highly regarded hospital behavioral health program in New York's Capital Region is seeking a full-time Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist. Deliver compassionate care for older adults in a collaborative, physician-friendly environment.
Highlights:
• 20-bed inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit
• Dedicated clinical coordinator/social worker trained in geriatric psychiatry
• Multidisciplinary team of therapists, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists and NPs
• Weekend call 1:6
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary $318,000–$355,000 based on experience
• $25,000 starting bonus + $30,000 retention bonus
• Relocation assistance
• Productivity, quality and extra-shift incentives
• Health, dental, vision; paid malpractice with tail
• CME time and allowance; paid time off; retirement; PSLF eligible

Job Responsibilities
• Address the medical, psychiatric and social needs of older adults
• Lead and collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Participate in 1:6 weekend call
• Coordinate with system behavioral health leadership
Qualifications
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Geriatric psychiatry fellowship highly preferred
• New York license (or eligible)
• Active DEA
• Clean malpractice/license history preferred
• Permanent role – not open to locums; no visa sponsorship
