Academic Geriatric Psychiatry Opportunity in North Carolina

  • Seeking a fellowship trained BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrist

  • 144-bed behavioral health facility is home to 24 inpatient beds dedicated to the mental health needs of geriatric patients.

Highlights of the position:

  • Opportunity to develop a consultation service for multiple nursing homes within close proximity to the medical center
  • Support from and collaboration with 4 neuropsychologists
  • Monday-Friday 8a – 5p schedule with rotating night call by phone
  • 24/7 resident coverage including taking first call
  • Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
