Academic Geriatric Psychiatry Opportunity in North Carolina
- Seeking a fellowship trained BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrist
- Join a growing academic division
- New graduates and visas accepted
- 144-bed behavioral health facility is home to 24 inpatient beds dedicated to the mental health needs of geriatric patients.
Highlights of the position:
- Opportunity to develop a consultation service for multiple nursing homes within close proximity to the medical center
- Support from and collaboration with 4 neuropsychologists
- Monday-Friday 8a – 5p schedule with rotating night call by phone
- 24/7 resident coverage including taking first call
- Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
