Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist opportunity in Mesa, Arizona
An excellent full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join an adult inpatient behavioral health program in Mesa, Arizona.
This position is based at a behavioral health center and focuses on the care of hospitalized, seriously mentally ill adults. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving high-acuity patients in a structured inpatient setting.
Practice Highlights
- Adult inpatient psychiatry
- Average caseload of 9–10 patients
- Average length of stay: approximately 22 days
- Majority involuntary patient population
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment team

Active participation in resident and medical student education is an integral part of the position.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Arizona medical license (required prior to start date)
