Annashae is seeking a Full-time Onsite Medical Director for a inpatient mental health facility in Illinois.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Administers all medical, psychiatric, nursing, social service and psychological treatment provided to both forensic and civil recipients on all units of the Center.
- Develops policies and procedures for all program areas in accordance with departmental policies, mental health code and various accreditation and certification bodies.
- Directs the implementation of services
Minimum Qualifications:
· Current unrestricted Illinois license
· Specialty: Primary Care, Rehabilitation Medicine, FM, IM, Surgery, or other specialty as approved by the facility.
· Board certified /Board eligible in specialty/field.
· Current unrestricted Illinois Controlled Substance certificate, Current DEA certificate
· Mantoux skin test prior to starting work or documentation of negative Mantoux within the last 90 days.
· Experience working with psychiatric/mental health patients.
· Malpractice is state indemnified.
· Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
