Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full-time (1.0 FTE) locum tenens assignment covering the Consult & Liaison service and Integrated Med Psych Unit at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Expected start January 2027; no call.
- Children's hospital with Pediatric Trauma designation
- Consult service: 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit: 4-10 per day
- Paired with psychology or PMHNP support; oversight of residents/fellows
- CT licensure preferred; IMLC accepted
Job Responsibilities
• Consult service: approx. 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit: 4-10 patients per day
• Treat children and adolescents ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
• Work alongside psychology (C&L) and PMHNP (Integrated unit) and oversee residents/fellows
• No call
Qualifications
• At least 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license required (IMLC accepted); willing to license
• DEA required
