Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a part-time, flexible locum tenens assignment in the pediatric Psych ED at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Expected start January 2027; no call.
- Children's hospital with Pediatric Trauma designation
- Always paired with a PMHNP partner
- Patient ages 3-21; rarely more than 10 patients per day
- CT licensure preferred; IMLC accepted
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
• Work alongside a PMHNP partner; rarely more than 10 patients per day
• 8-hour shifts with flexible start times; no call
• Telepsych only in very rare circumstances
Qualifications
• At least 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license required (IMLC accepted); willing to license
• DEA required
