Location: Middletown, Newburgh, Kingston, NY (Hudson Valley Region – Orange, Ulster & Dutchess Counties)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment progress.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with OMH regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- MD degree.
- Active New York State medical license.
- Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active DEA registration.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment practices.
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule.
