Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. California-based providers only.
• Acute care hospital setting caring for adolescent patients
• Approximately 6-12 patients per day
• Epic charting system
• Weekend and Monday/Tuesday coverage with night call, or 2 weeks of full-time weekday coverage
• Start date 10/19/2026

Job Responsibilities
• Weekend rounding (approx. 6 hours starting at 8A) followed by on-call until 8A the next day
• Monday/Tuesday on-site 8A-5P with night call until 8A
• Place admission orders for patients arriving during night call
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric medications for adolescents
• Lead the multidisciplinary team and collaborate with parents/guardians
Qualifications
• California license required (CA residents only)
• CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Experience managing psychiatric medications and challenging behaviors in adolescents
