Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Locum Tenens opportunity on the Consult & Liaison service and Integrated Med Psych Unit at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Start date: 1/4/2027.
- Connecticut Children's Medical Center, a pediatric hospital in Hartford
- Consult service: 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit: 4-10 per day
- Paired with psychology or a PMHNP; oversee residents/fellows
- Patient population ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
- No call; telepsych only in rare circumstances
Job Responsibilities
• Consult service: 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit: 4-10 patients per day
• Care for patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
• Supervise residents/fellows; paired with psychology or a PMHNP
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license preferred (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
• DEA required
