Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a part-time Locum Tenens opportunity in the Psych ED at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Start date: 1/4/2027.
- Connecticut Children's Medical Center, a pediatric hospital in Hartford
- Part-time Psych ED coverage with flexible scheduling
- Always paired with a PMHNP; rarely more than 10 patients per day
- Patient population ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
- No call; telepsych only in rare circumstances
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents (ages 3-21, primarily 6-18)
• Work alongside a PMHNP partner; rarely more than 10 patients per day
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license preferred (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
• DEA required
