Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a Locum Tenens opportunity at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Start date: 10/19/2026. Facility will only consider providers living in California.
- UCSF Health acute care hospital with adolescent psychiatry coverage
- Approximately 6-12 patients per day
- Coverage: 2 weekends per month plus following Monday/Tuesday, or 2 weeks of full-time weekday coverage
- Epic charting
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration with parents/guardians
Job Responsibilities
• Monday/Tuesday: on site 8a-5p, then night call until 8a
• Weekends: approximately 6 hours of rounding starting at 8am, followed by 24-hour call
• Place admission orders for patients arriving during night call
• See approximately 6-12 adolescent patients per day
• Develop individualized treatment plans and lead the multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
• California license required (CA residents only)
• CA DEA with Schedule 2 required; BLS (AHA) required
• Experience with psychopharmacology and psychotherapies in children and adolescents
• Experience managing challenging adolescent behaviors and leading multidisciplinary teams
