Job description
Full-time locum tenens opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist on the Consult & Liaison service and Integrated Med Psych Unit at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
- Children's hospital with Peds Level trauma designation
- Consult service 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit 4-10 per day
- Patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
- Paired with psychology or PMHNP partners; oversight of residents/fellows
- No call requirements; telepsych only in rare circumstances
Job Responsibilities
• See 5-15 patients per day on the consult service and 4-10 per day on the Integrated Med Psych Unit
• Treat children and adolescents ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
• Supervise residents/fellows and work with psychology and PMHNP partners
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license (IMLC accepted; will license)
• DEA required
