Job description
Part-time locum tenens opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
- Children's hospital with Peds Level trauma designation
- Patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
- Rarely more than 10 patients per day, always paired with a PMHNP
- No call requirements; telepsych only in rare circumstances
- Flexible part-time scheduling with 8-hour shifts
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
• See up to approximately 10 patients per day, always paired with a PMHNP partner
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license (IMLC accepted; will license)
• DEA required
