Locum tenens opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. California-based providers only.
- Acute care hospital affiliated with UCSF Health
- Adolescent inpatient psychiatry; approx. 6-12 patients per day
- Two weekends per month plus the following Monday/Tuesday
- Epic charting
- Facility requires providers who live in California
Job Responsibilities
• Weekend rounding (approx. 6 hours starting 8am) with on-call until 8am the next day
• Monday/Tuesday on-site coverage 8a-5p with night call until 8a, including admission orders
• Develop individualized treatment plans and lead the multidisciplinary team
• Manage psychiatric medications and challenging behaviors in adolescents
Qualifications
• Active California license (CA residents only) and CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n
• BLS (AHA) required
• Strong foundation in psychopharmacology and psychotherapies
• Experience treating children and adolescents and leading multidisciplinary teams
