Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a part-time, flexible locum tenens assignment covering the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
• Children's hospital and Level I-IV pediatric trauma center setting
• Patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18); rarely more than 10 patients per day
• Always paired with a PMHNP; no call required
• Telepsych only in very rare circumstances
• Anticipated start date January 2027

Job Responsibilities
• Partner with a PMHNP to see approximately up to 10 patients per day
• Manage acute psychiatric presentations for patients ages 3-21
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary pediatric care team
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license heavily preferred or IMLC licensure accepted (willing to license)
• DEA required
