Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for a part-time locum tenens assignment at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. The facility will only consider providers who live in California.
• Acute care hospital with an adolescent patient population
• Coverage of 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday and Tuesday
• Approximately 6-12 patients per day
• Epic charting system
• California license required; willing to license

Job Responsibilities
• Manage psychiatric medications for children and adolescents
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team and families/guardians
• Round on weekends (about 6 hours) and take 24-hour call coverage
• Provide Monday/Tuesday on-site coverage with night call and place admission orders as needed
Qualifications
• Active California license (willing to license); must reside in California
• California DEA with Schedule 2/2n required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Experience with psychopharmacology, psychotherapy and managing challenging adolescent behaviors
