Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatry physician for a Locum Tenens opportunity at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Start date 10/19/2026. California-based providers only.
- Acute care hospital in the UCSF Health system in San Francisco, CA
- Coverage: 2 weekends per month plus following Monday/Tuesday, or 2 weeks of full-time weekday coverage
- Approximately 6-12 patients per day
- Epic charting
- Facility only considers providers living in California
Job Responsibilities
• Cover 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday/Tuesday, or 2 weeks of full-time weekday coverage in addition to weekends
• Place admission orders and manage night call
• Develop individualized treatment plans and lead the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with patients, parents/guardians and care team
Qualifications
• Experience managing psychiatric medications in children and adolescents
• Experience managing challenging adolescent behaviors with de-escalation techniques
• California license required; CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n; BLS (AHA)
• Must currently reside in California
