Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity on the Consult & Liaison service and Integrated Med Psych Unit at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Start date January 2027.
- Children's hospital and Level I-IV pediatric trauma designation
- Pediatric and adolescent patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18)
- Consult service 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit 4-10 patients per day
- Paired with psychology or a PMHNP; oversee residents/fellows on Consult & Liaison
- No call requirements
Job Responsibilities
• Consult service: approx. 5-15 patients per day; Integrated Med Psych Unit: 4-10 patients per day
• Work with psychology and PMHNP partners; oversee residents/fellows on the Consult & Liaison service
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• At least 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license heavily preferred; IMLC license accepted (will license)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
