Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment at a leading children's medical center in Hartford, CT, covering the Consult & Liaison service and the Integrated Medical Psychiatry Unit.
- Children's hospital with Level I pediatric trauma designation
- Consult service of 5-15 patients per day and inpatient unit of 4-10 per day
- Paired with psychology and PMHNP partners; opportunity to supervise residents and fellows
- Weekday day shifts with no call
- CT licensure preferred; IMLC accepted
Job Responsibilities
• See 5-15 patients per day on the consult service and 4-10 per day on the inpatient unit
• Work alongside psychology and PMHNP partners; oversee residents and fellows on the consult service
• Care for patients ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18); no call requirements
Qualifications
• At least 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license heavily preferred (IMLC accepted); willing to license
• DEA required
