Aya Healthcare is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for part-time locum tenens coverage of the Psychiatric Emergency Department at a leading children's medical center in Hartford, CT.
- Children's hospital with Level I pediatric trauma designation
- Patients ages 3-21, rarely more than 10 per day
- Always paired with a PMHNP partner
- Flexible part-time scheduling with no call
- CT licensure preferred; IMLC accepted
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18), typically no more than 10 patients per day
• Work alongside a paired PMHNP partner
• No call requirements
Qualifications
• At least 1-3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience
• Connecticut license heavily preferred (IMLC accepted); willing to license
• DEA required
