Opportunity Overview
- Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry opportunity
- Patient population: ages 3-18
- Average daily census: 10 patients
- Locum provider will round on the inpatient floor
- Support team includes 1 MD and 2 NPs
- EPIC EMR
Schedule & Coverage
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- 5x8-hour shifts
- No call schedule specified
Coverage Dates:
- November 30-December 4
- December 28-January 1
- January 11-15
- January 25-29
- February 22-26
- March 8-12
Clinical Details
- Inpatient psychiatric setting
- Pediatric and adolescent patients, ages 3-18
- Average census of 10
- Common diagnoses include:
- Depression
- PTSD
- Personality disorders
- Defiant behavior
- Suicidal ideation/behavior
- Provider will primarily round on the inpatient unit
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board certification required
- Active Massachusetts (MA) medical license required
- BLS required
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Candidates requiring a new state license will not be considered
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
