Physician - Psych Child and Adolescent
Job Details:
Provide and supervise medical and physical care to inpatient psychiatric patientsUtilize appropriate psychotherapeutic methods, medication management, and treatment plan development in collaboration with treatment team members, pharmacy, and other hospital staff
Work closely with nurse practitioner support
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities
See 14-16 patients per shift
Manage a wide variety of primary psychiatric diagnoses including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders
Experience and competence with management of wide age ranges from pre-adolescent to geriatric populations required
Board certified or board eligible psychiatrist with board certification required within 24 months of eligibility
Previous experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting required
Child/Adolescent psychiatry board certification preferred
3+ years of experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
