Compensation: $300,000–$425,000 annually
New Adolescent Inpatient Program Opening This Fall
A new adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit in St. Augustine, FL is scheduled to open in late October 2026, and we are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the program.
This will be a small, focused unit, with the census expected to reach approximately 8 adolescent patients by the end of the year. This structure allows for flexibility, with the opportunity to consider either a part-time morning schedule or a full-time position.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adolescent inpatients
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and other members of the care team
- Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Communicate with families and other involved providers as appropriate
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active or eligible Florida medical license
- Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
- Experience working with adolescent populations strongly preferred
Schedule
Flexible: Part-time morning coverage or full-time employment
Start Date
Target opening/start: Late October 2026
