Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity — Florida

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a collaborative behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and families.

This opportunity offers the ability to practice within a supportive multidisciplinary environment while providing meaningful clinical care across multiple levels of behavioral health services.

The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for adolescent patients.

Clinical services may include:

• Adolescent inpatient psychiatry
• Residential treatment services
• Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
• Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

This role provides flexibility with full-time and part-time scheduling options, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents

• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment

• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, social workers, and clinical care teams

• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care utilizing current clinical standards

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence

• Promote coordinated care across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• Active or eligible Florida medical license

• Current DEA registration

• Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents

• Strong commitment to improving behavioral health outcomes for youth and families

Preferred:

• Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

• Experience in adolescent inpatient psychiatry

• Experience in residential treatment, PHP, or IOP settings

• Experience working within multidisciplinary behavioral health teams

• Prior clinical leadership experience
