Position Details
- Specialty: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Position Type: Long Term Locums Opportunity
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Through May 31, 2027
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule Model: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend night call required
Practice Setting
- Inpatient Psychiatry
- Adult Level II Trauma Center
- Approximately 10 patients per shift
- 12-bed department
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care with a focus on Child & Adolescent patients
- Participate in a hospitalist-style coverage model
- Manage admissions, evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in required call coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Extensive Child & Adolescent Psychiatry experience required
- Active state medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
- DEA required
- Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship preferred

- One provider needed
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions considered)
