Job description
We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry physician for a locum tenens position in Idaho Falls, ID. This inpatient opportunity is at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Patient population ages 13–17 with primary psychiatric diagnoses (depression with SI, mania/mood dysregulation, early-onset psychosis)
10–14 patients per shift; admitting and discharging 2–3 patients per day
Participate in consult rotation (1–2 consults per day, 1–2 days per week)
Collaborate with psychiatrist and mental health nurse practitioner
Qualifications
Active Idaho medical license required
DEA registration required
Working Hours
12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday–Sunday
Night call 2–3 days per week
