Practice Setting:
• Inpatient Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit
Work Details:
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment with support from RN staff, Medical Assistants, NP/PAs, and administrative office personnel
• Average daily patient volume of 6–10 patients per shift, allowing for thorough evaluations, treatment planning, and continuity of care
• Responsible for the psychiatric management and treatment of child and adolescent patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Facility utilizes Cerner EMR for documentation, order entry, and patient management
• 22-bed inpatient behavioral health department providing acute psychiatric stabilization and treatment services
• Duties may include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment team collaboration, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and coordination of care with families and outpatient providers
• Fast-paced inpatient environment focused on safety, stabilization, and evidence-based behavioral health treatment for pediatric and adolescent patients
