We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient locum tenens opportunity at an established behavioral health program in Massachusetts. This assignment offers a consistent schedule, strong clinical support, and long-term coverage stability through the end of 2026.
This position involves providing inpatient psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients within an acute behavioral health setting. The provider will work alongside a multidisciplinary support team in a structured inpatient environment focused on patient stabilization, evaluation, and treatment planning.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage treatment plans and medication management
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and support teams
• Participate in family and group treatment planning as appropriate
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within Cerner EMR
• Support crisis intervention and stabilization efforts when needed
Qualifications
• Child & Adolescent Psychiatry experience required
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• CPI Training required
• Current ACLS, BLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
• Prior inpatient psychiatry experience strongly preferred
Working Hours
• Assignment Length: Ongoing through December 2026
• Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
• No Call Required
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6–10 patients per shift
