Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Outpatient

Location: Ventura, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: Onsite, Outpatient

About the Opportunity

A well-established behavioral health program in Ventura County is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join their outpatient team. This role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights

  • 100% outpatient child & adolescent psychiatry
  • Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) – no call required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
  • Provide medication management and ongoing treatment planning
  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and care teams
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Qualifications

  • MD or DO – Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Active California license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Experience in outpatient or community-based pediatric psychiatry
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $300,000 – $375,000 annually
