A health center in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to treat both children and adults in the outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 9am-5pm
  • Call: None
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Patient population: Both children and adults

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management
  • Prescribe, direct, and administer treatments or medications to treat psychiatric disorders
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other providers
  • Discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Review patient histories and perform physical examinations

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
