Psychiatry – Outpatient Adult and/or Child & Adolescent Practice
Provide comprehensive mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in an outpatient clinic setting, supported by a multidisciplinary behavioural health team.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioural Health department in Jackson, TN. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centred environment with a strong referral base from primary care and speciality providers.
Job Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adult and/or adolescent patients in an outpatient setting.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as clinically indicated.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care physicians for coordinated care.
Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical program development.
Optional opportunity to engage in telepsychiatry or community outreach programs.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
