Practice Highlights:

We are the largest community mental health provider in the State of Florida for Child and Adolescent Programs – Extensive Outpatient Population, Behavior Analyst, Targeted Case Managers, Day Treatment, Outpatient Therapy, 30 Inpatient Beds. Recently awarded the Platinum designation by Optum for delivering highly effective inpatient care as measured by Optum’s Achievements in Clinical Excellence (ACE) program. 30 bed inpatient unit, outpatient practice, day treatment program, case management and counseling. We have a treatment philosophy that center on four main concepts: Holistic View of Individuals, Team approach to treatment, eclectic treatment and patient and family involvement.

Opportunity Highlights:

We have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible (new graduate) Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to be part of a well-established practice.

  • Outpatient clinic – Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Call schedule – every 4th weekend, every 4th night
  • Clinical supervision for other disciplines
  • 25-30 patients seen per doctor per day - combination of inpatient and outpatient visits
  • Children and adolescents up to age 18
  • Children 50%, adolescents 40%, adults (associated with children) 10%
  • Platinum Status Facility by Optum

Job Details / Qualifications:

  • Full time, Employed position
  • Must be ABMS/AOA Board Certified/Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Must hold US citizenship or permanent residency
  • Must obtain a Florida license
  • Experience desired, but new fellowship candidates considered
  • Collegial; excellent team building skills; motivated; energetic; flexible
  • Physician Governance Council allows for physician input into strategic planning and operational policies for the employed physician group
