Pacific Companies is pleased to present a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry opportunity in Wyoming within an established 81-bed acute care psychiatric hospital that has served the community for more than 30 years. This position allows physicians to step into a respected role with a well-established patient panel in a dedicated 30-bed child and adolescent unit. You will work alongside a collaborative team of psychiatrists and experienced advanced practice providers who manage much of the administrative and medical support, allowing you to focus on patient care. The schedule prioritizes physician quality of life with a Monday–Friday structure, no weekend shifts, and minimal phone-only call responsibilities. With a starting salary of $350,000 (negotiable), total compensation around $380,000, and no state income tax, this opportunity provides both financial strength and professional fulfillment.
Practice, Compensation & Organization Highlights
- 100% inpatient acute and residential Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Collaborative team of 4.5 psychiatrists and 3 experienced NPs
- 2 PAs handle most H&Ps and provide medical coverage until 10 PM
- 1 APP covers weekends and manages admissions for continuity of care
- 30-bed Child & Adolescent unit with ADC in the low to mid-20s
- Average patient volume of ~15 patients per day
- Walk into a well-established patient panel
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts
- Call rotation 1:4, one night per week, 99% phone-only
- $350,000 base salary with total compensation around $380,000 (all negotiable)
- $50,000 sign-on bonus
