Psychiatrist – Addiction Treatment - Full/Part time job ( $400K + benefits competitive compensation) in Devon, PA

New Jersey Practice:
Location: Mays Landing, NJ

Practice Environment:
Established addiction treatment facility.
Average daily census of approximately 45 patients.
Medical detoxification.
Residential and inpatient addiction treatment.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Fast-paced multidisciplinary treatment environment.
Flexible weekday rounding schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:
Complete psychiatric evaluations and addiction assessments.
Provide ongoing psychiatric care throughout detoxification and residential treatment.
Diagnose and manage co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
Develop withdrawal management and psychiatric treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate.
Monitor medication effectiveness and patient progress.
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nursing staff, therapists, counselors, and facility leadership.
Assess patient safety, psychiatric stability, and level-of-care needs.
Participate in discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree.
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one for the Devon location.
Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one for the Mays Landing location.
Physicians accepting the full-time multi-site position must obtain licensure in both states.
Active and unrestricted DEA registration.
Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric illnesses.
Comfortable practicing in detoxification and residential treatment settings.
Experience collaborating with or supervising advanced practice providers.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Ability to complete credentialing and background screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training or board certification in Addiction Psychiatry.
Fellowship training or board certification in Addiction Medicine.
Two or more years of experience in one or more of the following:
Inpatient psychiatry.
Crisis stabilization.
Detoxification programs.
Residential substance use treatment.
Experience treating dual-diagnosis patients.
Strong Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience.
Experience prescribing and managing:
Buprenorphine/Suboxone.
Vivitrol.
Methadone.
Familiarity with evidence-based withdrawal management protocols.
Previous experience supervising advanced practice providers.

Compensation:
Part-Time:
Approximately Salary annually
Compensation is flexible based on schedule, availability, experience, and clinical responsibilities.
Full-Time Multi-Site
Five-day schedule split between both facilities.
Typical schedule consists of two days at one location and three days at the other.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Daytime hours.
Flexible rounding schedule.
Part-time opportunities available at either location.
Full-time schedule split between Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Typical operating hours approximately 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Weekend and call expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
