This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist seeking a consistent one- or two-day-per-week schedule while providing meaningful care to patients recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
The physician will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for patients receiving detoxification and residential addiction treatment. The facility maintains an average daily census in the 50s, offering a structured clinical environment with a strong focus on patient recovery and continuity of care.

Job Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive psychiatric and substance use evaluations.
Diagnose and treat co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
Provide medication management and monitor treatment response.
Support detoxification and withdrawal management plans.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge decisions.
Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, therapists, counselors, and facility leadership.
Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Support continuity of care throughout the detoxification and residential treatment process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Active DEA registration.
Ability to complete credentialing and background screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience treating substance use disorders.
Previous residential detoxification or addiction treatment experience.
Experience managing patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Working Hours
One or two weekdays per week.
Daytime hours.
Flexible weekday scheduling.
Consistent part-time schedule.
Practice Environment:
Established residential detoxification facility.
Average daily census in the 50s.
Adult patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
Multidisciplinary treatment team.
