Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Idaho that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with overnight call, 7 on/7 off
- Will cover consults, new admissions, discharges, and emergencies
- 2 inpatient adult psychiatric units totaling 37 beds
- Patient Census: Rounding on 15-18 per day
- Average LOS: 5-7 days
- Team Structure: 2 physicians, 2-3 residents
- EMR: Meditech
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, check out a local zoo that focuses on regional wildlife and conservation, visit a historic downtown area, and take a short drive to nearby sand dunes for hiking or off-roading.
